Description

Enjoy a holiday, long weekend, romantic break or even a business related stay in beautiful cadgwith. With the beach on your doorstep (literally 10 steps away), enjoy a walk around the coast to see the amazing views Cornwall has to offer :) Perfect for business or pleasure, couples or singles! Please check the 'other things to note' and all other information in the listing for more details about our lovely flat and location :) The space We are located in one of Cornwall's most beautiful fishing villages! Enjoy fresh fish and crab caught locally and sold at The Old Cellars Cafe next door! Guest access There are many coastal walks right on the doorstep- Poltesco, Kennack, Devils Frying pan, Coverack, or The Lizard (the most Southerly point in the UK) Other things to note There is a car park located about 300 yards from The Loft, so don't worry about having to find somewhere to park! Enjoy the beautiful scenic route and views down to the Cove on the footpath. The carpark (if you have the beach on your left while in the cove) is up the hill through the pillars, just up the road on the right, signposted. If you were to go up the other side of the cove, you would end up back in Ruan minor village with the local shop on your left. The carpark is £3 per day or £15 per week. Although if you're lucky or depending on the time of year, you may be able to park in the cove itself. But please make sure you don't park on the fisherman's slip (top of the beach) and also make sure you're not blocking anyone in and the working tractor can get past. We have a pound meter in the flat that we put money in for our guests, but depending on if it’s a longer stay/ how much electricity you use, it may need to be topped up! The wonderful log burner in the lounge offers warmth on those cold winter nights- we put in a starter bag of wood for our guests but again depending on the length of the stay and how much you use the fire this may also need to be topped up- the local shops offer bags of logs so it’s easy to find! (Ruan minor or mullion). The starter bag of logs is put in the flat throughout the winter months but not during the summer. There is a recycling bag located in the porch area (door off the kitchen). And bin bags, depending on your length of stay, can be put next door in the cafe large Wheely bin :) If it is out of season for the cafe or closed, just pop it in the entrance and pop me a message, and I'll get it sorted :) Also, a little something else to consider, due to our beautiful location and area, sometimes the WiFi can drop in and out or be a weaker connection to what some are used to! But being right by the coast this can affect it sometimes :) The internet box it located in the cafe next door so any problems don't hesitate to pop in there (during the open summer season) or alternatively just pop me a message :). The details for WiFi can be found on the dresser in the living area. While we do provide some essentials in the kitchen, we do not provide cooking oil. There is a mini freezer located near the dining table. We provide bedding, 2 x bath towels and 2 x hand towels. Please also note, the TV isn't the most reliable (hence this not being listed on amenities). It often experiences problems receiving aerial signal for terrestrial channels. We do, however, have the catch-up channels through the WiFi that can be used on the smart tv, or alternatively, you can sign in to your own Netflix. We also have an old-school DVD player for those who still have discs! We would recommend bringing an ipad/tablet that you can use offline, maybe a book, or even just enjoy some good old-fashioned talking!
