Experience Khayelitisha township and Xhosa culture in our locally owned B&B 30 minutes from Cape Town. We have been hosting travelers in our home for more than 16 years. We have five comfortable, renovated rooms. Xhosa cuisine is my specialty! Experience a one of a kind home filled with kindness, stories, taste experiences and family time! I am here to learn and not only to teach people about my environment. Guest access You'll be more than welcome in the dining area and the kitchen. Come to sit in our living room to have a conversation. Offcourse you can use our WifI (wireless internet), just ask for the WiFi code. During your stay There's always somebody at home (me, my husband or son) for answering questions or just to have a nice conversation with. We can help you with almost everything. My son can offer you a township walking tour, if you need to go to the hospital, we drive you there anytime. We can help you with laundry. All this for a small fee. Bed and breakfast is offered and dinner is on request. At my home, we share local stories over lovely African meals. I approach each guest different as I would my own children, but we always emphasise there is nothing to fear in our town. We focus on meeting the people and showing them around. Other things to note I like to host well-behaved guests!
