Description
Lovingly converted barn in a gorgeous courtyard setting perfect for families or groups of friends, we have kept as many of the original features as possible. Both bedrooms have ensuite showers, the kitchen has everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Outside are tables and chairs and a gas BBQ for eating al fresco. An all weather tennis court and bicycles are available for guests to use. The space The Dairy is set in a lovely courtyard along with The Potting Shed. The main farmhouse were we live but you have separate entrance and won’t be disturbed by us unless needed. The Dairy is a spacious luxury barn conversion, ideal for couples and families. We have enjoyed finding antique and vintage furniture from local auction houses to give a homely feel. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, with dishwasher, induction hob and fan oven. A wood burning stove ideal for cosy nights, extra wood is supplied for further fires. A large Smart TV with Bluetooth soundbar. There is a travel cot and high chair available please ask. Having rented many holiday lets over the years I know what is needed to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The local area has much to offer including Artisan courses in stone carving and pottery. We are perfectly situated for bird watching on the Avalon Marches famous for its Starling murmurations. The Jurassic Coast is only 45 mins away, wonderful walking whatever time of year, Bridport Market on a Saturday is excellent and can be combined with a coastal walk. Wells is a definitely worth a visit fascinating ‘city’ with wonderful cathedral and Bishops Palace, also has a great market on Saturdays. Good to combine with a visit to Glastonbury where you might climb the Tor. The immediate area has a wealth of NT properties within 25 mins, Montacute, Barrington Court, Muchelney Abbey, Lytes Cary and Stourhead. East Lambrook Manor Gardens created by the famous Margery Fish is just 5 mins away. There are numerous excellent pubs in the local area Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Guest access There is plenty of room for two cars to park securely. Tennis court and bicycles for those looking for activity ! Other things to note The Dairy shares the old farmyard of Greystone House with The Potting Shed, which may have guests as well. As I allow dogs in my properties The Potting Shed may have a dog.
