Days tend to unfold naturally here; that’s the magic of being on the water. Spend some time on the enclosed decking first thing, taking in the view. Maybe take the kayaks out before breakfast? Whoever managed to snag the principal bedroom has the bonus of their own private balcony, which is perfect for sneaking away with your morning coffee and a good book. The space Grebe Lodge sleeps eight across four bedrooms, including a ground-floor en-suite ideal for accessibility and a principal bedroom with a private balcony and lake views. One upstairs bedroom can be arranged as a twin bed or super-king. The open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area has glass frontage and wide water views. There’s a smart TV, a sound system, fast Wi-Fi and a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Guest access You’ll have full use of the lodge, the enclosed lakefront decking, the private hot tub, the outdoor dining area and the BBQ. The decking has direct access to the lake, and private parking is right outside the property, plus 4x Kayaks. Check in from 3PM and check out by 10AM. You can arrive at your own pace with self check-in via key box, just give us a call if you have any issues. Other things to note We’re dog-friendly and welcome up to two dogs (a third may be possible on request). A high chair and travel cot are already at the property and ready to use at no extra cost, so there’s no need to request them in advance. We can also help with light decoration touches for birthdays, proposals or other occasions. Paddleboard hire is available, and with easy lake access, it’s perfect for slow mornings on the water or sunset paddles. The lodge sits within the private, gated Waters Edge estate - a peaceful place designed for relaxed breaks rather than large or noisy gatherings. If you’re travelling with a bigger group, we manage more than 18 homes on Waters Edge and nearly 50 across the wider Cotswolds, so we can recommend neighbouring houses or help coordinate multiple bookings.
