Quiet, safe, and close to everything
Description
I'm in a small apartment block where most residents are owner/occupiers in a lovely, quiet, and safe neighborhood just 3 tram stops from the CBD. Most places of interest are within a short 15-20 minute walk or a few steps from public transport. Whether you stay with me for a few days, weeks or months, I will do what I can so you have the best possible experience in my beautiful city. The space Your room is in my home. You will sleep in one of two bedrooms. The other is mine. In your room you will find a queen bed sleeping a maximum of 2 people, a wardrobe, a small table and chairs and a large desk and office chair for if you wish to work at home. You have your own bathroom which is located across the small hallway from your room. You have access to the gym, pool and a tennis court. I also have a washing machine, which you are welcome to use for a small fee. There’s a balcony where you can take your breakfast, a glass of wine while reading, or if you do, here's where you could smoke. My apartment is situated within walking distance to the CBD, City Center. You can find several great little cafes nearby and an IGA supermarket is located just across the road at the back of the building. (Open from 6am till 11pm). The Royal Botanic Gardens and the Shrine of Remembrance are a 5 minute stroll away. The best thing about my apartment according to my guests is its location. Guest access You will have access to gym, pool and the tennis court (you must pre-book it. List hangs in the gym). If you are here for an extended stay, you're welcome to cook in my fully equipped kitchen. All I ask is that you leave it as you found it. During your stay I love interacting with my guests as much or as little as they wish. I have run my own restaurants and hotels both here and in Europe for over 45 years so I am used to having tourists/visitors around. I make sure that my guidebook is updated constantly so you will always be in the know about the newest and best places to dine in. I have also included many places of interest for you to visit to ensure you will have the best possible stay in Melbourne. Other things to note I have had many visitors from lots of different countries staying with me—many of them for several weeks. If you wish, I'm happy to explain Australian culture. My mother language is German and I speak a little French and Spanish.
