We are located near the famous surfing beach Weligama Bay & only a short distance to many other surf spots. The location is near Taprobane Island, in a small side road with a quiet, friendly & safe neighbourhood. The beach, town, train station, local shops & many restaurants are conveniently within walking distance. The space Our Sunset Room 1 is located on the first floor with a private balcony. It is equipped with an ensuite bathroom, hot water, air conditioning and a king size canopy bed which is equipped with a mosquito net and a comfortable high quality spring mattress to ensure a restful sleep. Further, the room is fitted with a small desk which allows you to work in privacy or take meeting calls. However, there is also a co-working area available on the ground floor where you can also enjoy hot and cooled beverages, breakfast and lunch in our new in-house café (open 8am - 3pm). As our guest you will have free access to unlimited WiFi and filtered water 24/7. We hope you enjoy your stay with us and become part of the Happy Haven Surfhouse family! Guest access As our guest you have unrestricted access to our co-working area and café on the ground floor as well as to our private rooftop where you can chill and enjoy watching the sunset, practice yoga or get some work done with the pleasure of a nice cool breeze (there are several plug points installed for the convenience of our remotely working guests). During your stay There will be someone available to answer questions and offer advice during your stay. We are available 24/7 on WhatsApp. Other things to note · We have 3 friendly dogs (1 is very cuddly the other 2 more playful). However, they are only living on the ground floor and have no access to your room or the rooftop. · Due to limited space, parking is only available for scooters. · We have 3 bicycles for rent for a small fee. · We care about the environment and try to keep our room prices as low as possible. Therefore please respect our rules and turn off the A/C when you leave the room. Our machines are new and strong and will cool down the room within a few minutes.
