This apartment with Russian avant-garde interiors and a fantastic view of a Stalin era high-rise is a true time machine. Located in a historical constructivist building, carefully restored and fully equipped with authentic and reconstructed furniture, lights and tableware, it will transfer you to 1930's utopia. The apartment is located in the center of Moscow, three steps from the metro station «Krasnye Vorota» (the Red Gates) The space The apartment is located in a house built in 1932 — the era of Bauhaus and Russian avant-garde, and is designed by the famous constructivist architect Ivan Nikolaev. This giant building was inhabited by employees of the People's Commissariat of Railways, many of whom still live here now. The apartment is located in the center of Moscow, three steps from the metro station «Krasnye Vorota» (the Red Gates). The Red Square is just 3 metro stations away or 20 minutes by foot — down the most attractive walking streets of the historical center. The interiors and many details of the apartment miraculously survived and were carefully restored, including color solution of the walls, window frames, doors and parquet. Furniture is made according to the exact designs of the 1920s and 1930s, most of which remained only the concepts of avant-garde artists of that era. Guests of the apartment will be the first to see their exact replicas and will be able to use them for their pleasure. Here you can live a unique experience of the great utopia of the Soviet avant-garde. The courtyard of the house is very quiet, so nothing will distract you from immersion in another era. Guest access The apartment has two identical independent rooms. Transformable furniture by the projects of the 1920s allows you to adapt the living conditions to your needs. In one of the rooms, two beds can be easily combined into a double bed with a common mattress, in the other - a sofa with a reclining armrest turns into a full bed. There is a kitchen with a stove, fridge and washing machine, and a restroom with a shower. Other things to note Please be careful with the historical interiors. Kindly do not touch the restored walls because they cannot be cleaned. Please take off your shoes for the sake of preserving the historical parquet.
