Tranquil Townhouse with Parking,minutes from Beach

Welcome to Weighbridge Cottage! Renovated to a high standard, this is an airy holiday home for up to 5 people plus 2 cots in central Lyme Regis and is 4 minutes easy stroll from the beach! Despite its name, Weighbridge cottage is a three story townhouse on Church Street in central Lyme Regis. It's close to everything, yet peaceful and tranquil. There's private off road parking right next to the front door. I have tried to include everything you need, toys and games, and beach stuff The space From the first of December the sitting room will be decorated with twinkling fairy lights and a golden Christmas tree There is a private, under cover, off road , parking space right next to the front door, a must in Lyme Regis in the summer. If you are coming in two cars there is a long stay carpark just up the road in Charmouth Road . Bedroom one has a king size bed. Bedroom two has 2 single beds that can be zip and linked to make a super king bed if two couples are staying There's also a trundle bed which slides out from under one of the beds and can accommodate either an adult or a child. All the beds have new mattress from The Woolroom, contain no chemicals and are super comfortable. All the duvets are pure new wool and are hypoallergenic. There's a hairdryer in the top right hand drawer of the chest of drawers in bedroom one. There's a well equipped kitchen, with all the crockery, cutlery and glass ware you will need. There's a gas hob and electric oven, a large fridge freezer, a dishwasher, microwave, an electric kettle and 4 slice toaster. There's also an espresso machine and cafetieres, coffee bean grinder and a milk warmer and frother for that all important morning cuppachino! There's also a DAD Radio and a nutri bullet. Please be aware that the knifes are very sharp. l provide salt,pepper and sugar, a selection of oils and vinegars, tea and coffee and a selection of jams and spreads and cereals for you to use you don't have to bring basics with you. The sitting room has a 43 inch TV with Netflix . Also a cosy living flame gas fire. ln the glazed cupboard is an interesting and extensive collection of my cookbooks in case you need inspiration and a selection of OS maps and books about the area. ln the same cupboard is a collection of fossiling tools for you to borrow.. There's also a dining table which seats 6 people. ln the cupboard above the TV are two powerful torches and candles and matches incase the power fails, which has never happened yet but can happen in the country. On the dining room table when you arrive will be the House Manual and a file with Top Tips for Trips in and around Lyme Regis. The bathroom has a full sized bath with shower over and is decorated with shells and crystals. In the cupboard are a selection of shampoos and lotions and potions for you to use. On the ground floor is a washing machine and a dryer, iron and ironing board and a clothes rack, useful for drying swimming towels. There's also lots of beach stuff for you to borrow. including a cold box, ice packs in the freezer, a bucket barbecue, buckets and spades, a wind break and a parasol. There's also plenty of plastic plates and cups for picnics. Don't miss the Kelly Kettle ( stored in the cold box) these are really fun and useful, you collect some driftwood, light a little fire in it and boil water for tea or coffee. There's also crabing lines and some beach toys. Babies and children. On request l can provide 2 large travel cots with new mattresses and fitted sheets, two high chairs and stair gates, l can also provide a baby bath and a potty on request. There are some plastic drinking cups, bowls and plates in the bottom drawer in the kitchen. There are a selection of toys, games and childres books. There are more games, some of them for adults in the green footstool in the sitting room, as well as pencils,crayons and felt tip pens for budding young artists. Please bring your own cot blankets. Don't miss the amazing adventure playground behind the house which can be seen from the back bedroom window. l want even my youngest guests to be safe and comfortable. Your dogs are very welcome and I provide poo bags and a dog towel. Please bring your own beach towels. Polite Request. Please be eco friendly guests and use eco programmes on the washing machine and dishwasher and please turn off unwanted lights.
