MacStay-Beautiful Architectural Guest Studio

Want stunning views to wake up to? a quiet and relaxing space? ...you found MacStay! Our sun filled studio (22m2) is architecturally designed & has the ‘wow’ factor. Wake up to birdsong and the ever changing harbour scene. In beautiful Macandrew Bay, on the stunning Otago Peninsula but just 15 min drive from the city and a 1km stroll to the cafe and beach. Your own private entrance and deck, and beautifully appointed en suite and bedroom space. Come and relax. ‼️steps/uphill path to entrance The space A scenic 15min drive from Central Dunedin . Macstay has a fridge for keeping the wine chilled after a long day exploring, plus kettle, toaster and microwave as well.(No cooking facilities though or kitchen sink as we are not set up for full self catering ) The local cafe serves lush food and is open most Friday nights through summer plus we have food trucks most Fridays at the park or beach area. Further along is Glenfalloch Gardens open Wednesday to Sunday and late on Friday nights There’s TV and Wi-Fi if you want to connect with the world or borrow a book from the mini library and curl up in the sun. Nana naps here are the norm. Guest access There is no off street parking available. There is plenty of street parking and it is a short distance on foot along our private driveway to the steps that lead up to MacStay. If you have difficulty with mobility our place will not be suitable as there are a few steps and a path that gently follows the land contour uphill to the entrance door. Other things to note Our kitchenette is quite teeny tiny it has no cooking facilities or sink, there is a small plastic basin for washing up and microwave for heating food. There are cups,bowls and small plates, cutlery, chopping board and chopping knife for organising simple things i.e breakfast cereals, toast, sandwiches etc but we are not set up for extensive meal prep, cooking, or full self catering. Water is perfectly fine to drink out of the tap
