Family country house on 2 floors in a 2500 m2 wooded garden. The property is located in Olivet, 15 minutes south of Orléans, between the gentle banks of the Loire with its castles and the freshness of the Sologne forests. We are 5 minutes from the highway exit. We are both in the countryside with the fields behind the house and at the same time close to shops and the tram to central Orléans. This is the old part of our secondary property. The space It's a house that's both in the countryside and close to the city. On our side of the street there are fields and on the other side the tram with an urban environment. 1 km from the center with its small shops and market. On the other side, 2 km from the shopping center. Beautiful sunsets thanks to a clear horizon. The house itself is spacious and very open to the garden. The accommodation we offer is located in the old part of the house. It has kept its tiled floor and flooring. The bedrooms are equipped with large windows overlooking the garden. The large kitchen with its French window opens directly onto the garden. The house is equipped with simplicity and functionality. The accommodation is on two floors. 1 large entrance serves on the right a corridor overlooking a small living room/TV, 1 bedroom, a bathroom equipped with a washing machine and 1 toilet. On the left is a large kitchen. A staircase provides access to the floor which serves 3 bedrooms (one with a single and a half bed, the other with a double bed and the last smaller one with a single bed) and a bathroom. The west wing of the house is closed because it is reserved for the family who go there outside the rental period for maintenance. A family member comes by from time to time to take care of the garden and make sure everything is okay. For your information, we rent a small outbuilding ("single-story house") on the property. NOTE: A set of sheets and two towels are provided only for a double room. For the other beds, we provide a set of sheets at the rate of €7 and a towel at the rate of €3. Upon arrival you will find toilet paper, bath mats, a dish towel, a garbage bag, dishwashing liquid and some tablets for the washing machine.
