Three bedroom house with lots of character and rustic period features. Beautiful views, overlooking the sea and a conservatory to sit and watch the sunsets. In walking distance to Saint Nectan's Glen waterfall and nearby beautiful Bossiney cove. Close (by car) to Trebarwith Strand beach and Tintagel and Boscastle towns. The space Three bedrooms, two double and one twin bedded room with an extra single bed available in one of the double rooms on request (for the 7th guest). Two bathrooms (upstairs with bath and shower attached and downstairs there is a toilet and shower in the utility room). Please let us know in advance if you would like linen left for the extra 7th bed. Large kitchen table with seating for 6/7 people. Kitchen has everything you need and complimentary tea, coffee. Access to fridge and freezer, microwave, oven, cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. Cosy sitting room with wood burner. Wifi. Private drive with parking for 3/4 cars. Small front garden with beautiful sea views. Large field behind with owners van at the back of the field. Small table and chair set for outside and a BBQ. This is an old cottage with a lot of character and rustic charm. The cottage was built in the 1800s with parts of it originating from the 1200s and it wasn’t lived in for many years. There are signs of wear and it is still drying out. Especially after wet weather. We and our guests so far feel it is a comfortable place to stay but please bear in mind this and your tastes before booking. There is a farm next door with a converted van who also rent parts of their property. The farm also owns several friendly dogs who roam around the land. The water at the cottage comes from a private water supply which is filtered but untreated. We have it tested annually and drink from it ourselves but you may wish to use bottled water. Guest access You have exclusive use of the entire property with paddock land behind the house. The owners van is under refurbishment at the very back of the field behind the house but does not obstruct any views or use of the property. The property shares a track with the 44 acre farm beyond including the next door property that is rented out on air Bnb (trewinnick lodge) and a converted van rented out on canopy and stars (Trebus). We have a private driveway beside the house with space for several cars. Other things to note One well behaved dog welcome. Please pick up your dogs poos when you leave ! Check out is now 10am due to updated Covid-19 cleaning measures. We supply a basic travel cot and high chair for little ones. Useful to note that the downstairs is all hard slate flooring so you may want to bring a mat or soft play pen for babies. The cottage was built in the 1800s and wasn’t lived in for many years. There is a log store out through the back door, be very careful on the slate steps and paving stones in wet weather as they can become slippery.
