Description
Kent's Cottage is situated in the lovely village of Lower Odcombe, set below the Iron-Age hill fort of Ham Hill. Our pretty two-bedroomed thatched cottage is Grade II listed and was built at the end of the 18th Century. The space Kent's Cottage was built in the 18th Century but has been recently refurbished, with a modern kitchen but still retaining its cosy characteer. The open fire is no longer usable as it has had to be professionally sealed due to restrictions imposed by our insurance company. It has 2 pretty bedrooms - one double and one with 2 single beds - and a delightful garden. There is a gas Bar B Q in the garden. Guest access The cottage is not suitable for disabled guests as there are many steps. Other things to note We have occasionally let the cottage out privately, and we previously had a 4 Star rating with Visit Britain. Close to the cottage is The Mason's Arms pub, renowned for good food (menu online) and it's own micro brewery. THE PUB IS CURRENTLY CLOSED UNTIL THE BREWERY FINDS A NEW MANAGER
