Our accomodation is situated in the center of Paleokastritsa, fifty meters away from a beach. The house has two apartments with big balconies and amazing sea view from Paleokastritsa. The space The name of Paleokastritsa suggests the existence of an old castle that was probably built on the hillside where the Monastery of Theotokos is located. The main scenario is that the name was originally given to the Monastery and then to the whole area. According to Greek mythology, the rock of Kolovri is the ship of Odysseus, which was turned to stone by the sea god Poseidon when he returned from Ithaca. This small rock is located southeast and can be clearly seen from the hill where the Monastery of Theotokos is located and from the village of Lakones.
