This luxurious little gem of a duplex with south facing 20ft sundeck is literally a stone's throw from Great Western & Towan beach & less than a minute from the town centre; possibly the best location in Newquay! Stunningly located on the sunny face of a Victorian building in a cul-de-sac on the historic cliff-side ‘Rocks’ of Newquay Old Town. If looking for style & comfort, then this is it! Floor to ceiling all is chic: Each of you have your own luxury bathrooms & two Ultra4k TVs & mod cons The space Our sumptuous duplex is ideal for that super relaxation time that any couple deserves after the past year's struggles. Like most of the best spots by the sea in Central Newquay it remains the ideal and gorgeous place to vacation on the coast, with access to the beach 2 minutes away. In the master bedroom on the upper floor alongside the King Size Bed is a very large en-suite. If you are 3 or 4 then there is a double sofa bed in the lounge area on the lower level which as previously mentioned has a cute separate additional driftwood shower room, with second toilet and sink, on that lower level: when the sofa bed is used it's fair to say the space does become a little cosy- however that area leads straight out onto the huge south facing sun deck (20 by 9ft). The other plus for 4 people staying is that the two sleeping areas are separated out by the entry lobby and 2 sets of fire doors - so that both sound wise nor entry/exit wise neither has to disturb the other. Please hold in mind that to be at your most comfortable the space is at its very best for a couple, although many guests have loved it with more. On that first floor lower level, an open plan living room, oak & granite topped kitchen & corner b'fast bar area all lead out onto the south facing deck area. There you will find two modern sun loungers awaiting you and spacious kitted out al fresco dining area to relax in within this unique sun trap. You are also directly by the modem with great wi-fi - so working from 'home' is also easy. The entire lower floor can act as an entirely separate space with all facilities privately available without any disturbance to others, and as previously mentioned the driftwood shower bathroom, toilet and sink then act as the en-suite for that level. Situated above a rear courtyard and despite buildings on two sides - the deck area miraculously catches the sun for hours, while gorgeous glimpses in the distance of Newquay harbour & the world famous Headland Hotel and the sea between the two, allow you to judge when the surf is up. Just to be super clear - although the apartment is only a stone's throw from the the sea - it faces the sunny south side of the building which means the sea views are a little distant because of the buildings immediately next door; paradoxically the sound of the waves rolling is as if next to where you are standing: great for dropping off to sleep at night - as they gently soothe you. After catching waves the deck is big enough for surfers to wash down wets suits and boards with fresh water tap using Hozelock hose, wax & stash boards outside on the surfboard rack: For pet lovers your well behaved mutt will happily join you in the outside fun too! On the upper floor awaits a King size bed with an award winning super-comfy Emma Mattress (plus a single sofa bed for an under 12), Movie sized tv and spacious en-suite with bath and shower. For those to whom a good nights rest is important this is the place you. No-one lives above or below your bedroom. A quiet courtyard sits to the rear of the bedroom window. You will truly be able to get a silent night's sleep, with only the sound of the sea lapping against the rocks, to help you drift off at night and the seagulls to wake you in the morning. Best Jack Guest access The entire duplex will be available to you both, including the washer/dryer in the en suite. Other things to note As the duplex is on the first and second floor of the building you will need to be OK with the stairs. Parking is an important factor for many guests and the surrounding streets do have numerous 'free' unrestricted parking spaces including directly outside the front door. These are very popular in the spring and summer but often become free early-ish in the morning when others tend to leave for work or to head out for the day’s sand and surf between 8am and 10am: HOT TIP - after 6pm park anywhere nearby including on yellow lines if you cannot find an unrestricted space and pop down early in the morning around 8-30 - 9 am to take up one of the 'free' spaces. That has never failed me yet on my visits. So much is available on foot I often leave the car there for the whole holiday!
