This is a rustic rural village accommodation with some modern touches. Every room is tiled and whitewashed, with new electric installations, new comfortable furniture, and thoughtful touches. This guest house has 3 bedrooms, railroad style, separated by curtains. There is a small modern bathroom with a shower, one living space with a fireplace, and a new well-equipped eat-in kitchenette. The caves maintain an average temperature in the neighborhood of 19ºC year round. There are few experiences like sleeping in caves, which aside from the constant temperature, have a romantic quality that sets them apart. Aside from the caves you will have shared access to a large 45m² patio which overlooks the farmlands of the Alpujarra and mountains of the Gador and Sierra Nevada. We provide patio furniture and a charcoal BBQ to our guests. The patio is typically our primary access to the our family home, but we give guests shared use of the patio when renting out the guest caves. Guest will have priority use of the patio. We use the back patio when we have guests and will do our best to give you privacy. (unless you want the company ;) Guest access The guests have use of the large patio, patio furniture, and BBQ. Guests can also request use of free weights, paddle ball equipment(reservations required in advance for town courts), beach chairs and other beach gear, bocce(town pétanque/boules courts), there is a library of books in English, a kid pool, a pack'n play(travel crib), and hiking baby carrier. Other things to note Terque is a built upon a hill. Walking in town entails navigating relatively steep and narrow roads. Our houses are well outfitted and comfortable renovations of old style cave dwellings. This means that there are steps, some low doorways(watch your head!) and other peculiarities that make the homes enchanting. The region has an average of over 320 sun days a year.
