Rose Cottage, WiFi Cottage Near Majhkhali

Located in Dwarson, 18km from Ranikhet, on the Ranikhet-Almora road.Airport Pantnagar(130 kms),Railhead Kathgodam(90 kms). Altitude 5500 feet, sunshine throughout the day. Enjoy snow peaks, wilderness, the mountains, valleys and trails in the woods, or drive around the less travelled roads, take hikes to nearby hill tops, or just relax in the cottage. The local market is 1 km away, and quality restaurants and bars are available in Majkhali, at 5 kms. We do not accept bookings outside Airbnb. The space The place can accommodate only 2 persons in one bedroom on the first floor(a second bedroom on this floor is kept locked up for our personal belongings). A living room and a dining room-cum-kitchen are available on the ground floor for use of guests. You don’t have to share the place with anyone. The house has wooden floors and roofs, and is surrounded by pine, so open fire inside or outside is not an option. Electric heaters or blankets have to be carefully used. Guest access Pretty much the whole house; only one bedroom is locked up for our personal effects. You won’t have to share the house with anyone. Other things to note There is a 50m walk to the house after you park your car. It is moderately steep. Please bring perishable food items like bread, butter, fruits, veggies, milk, meat etc., as also your preferred snacks and drinks from town on your way here to be kept in the kitchen store or fridge. The choice for local purchase of these items is very limited, but the caretaker can help you buy whatever is available locally. We'll have the pantry well stocked with basic food items like flour, rice, pulses,spices for a few days ; you have to replenish the items you need for longer stays, through local purchase.
