STRA6333JTA725PR The space Welcome to The LOVE SHACK Denmark — a private, beautifully restored king-bedroom chalet set within a former dairy on our peaceful 250-acre working farm. Thoughtfully renovated, this self-contained chalet offers modern comforts including reverse-cycle heating/cooling, a fully equipped kitchen, updated bathroom, gym , and Starlink internet with unlimited streaming (for fun and work, if you must!). Relax in the cosy lounge with a comfortable loveseat, reading lamp, a selection of books and magazines, or enjoy the 40" wall-mounted smart TV. The spacious king bedroom features a padded headboard, premium linens, dual-control heated blanket, bedside pendant lamps, dimmable lighting, and a ceiling fan. French barn doors with opaque glass provide quiet privacy. The modern kitchen includes everything you need: induction cooktop, oven/toaster, microwave, bar fridge/freezer, kettle, French press, bean grinder, teapot, full crockery, cutlery, and glassware. An outdoor gas BBQ with side burner offers another way to cook and enjoy the scenery. Your stay begins with a breakfast welcome basket featuring fresh baked bread, free-range eggs, whole milk, butter, jam/honey, fresh-ground coffee, and tea. You’ll also find spices, condiments, olive oil, and balsamic — all you need to create meals or platters at home. Safety essentials include a hard-wired smoke detector, fire extinguisher, fire blanket, carbon monoxide detector, and first aid kit. The water is safe to drink as it is triple filtered and UV sterilized to all taps. The renovated bathroom offers a walk-in shower, spacious vanity, high-quality towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, a heated towel rail, and hairdryer. Outdoors, enjoy garden dining furniture, teak sun loungers, Adirondack chairs for sunset-watching, and incredible starry skies. The gym includes weights, bench, elliptical, rowing machine, skipping rope, yoga mat, and a Bluetooth speaker. There’s also a 2-person hammock for lazy afternoons. A full-size washer, eco-detergent, and indoor/outdoor lines are available. Beach towels, camp chairs, sunscreen, picnic basket, and kite are provided for exploring our 40 acres of Karri forest or the region’s beautiful beaches. As a Land for Wildlife property, wildlife is abundant — spot red-tailed and white-tailed cockatoos, splendid blue fairy-wrens, ring-necked parrots, magpies, and our resident mob of kangaroos. Farm residents include Angus cattle, Dorper sheep, and friendly Thoroughbred horses. The farm borders the Denmark–Nornalup Heritage Rail Trail, a 50 km walking and cycling track. Feel free to wander the property — walking sticks and a large umbrella are provided. We are perfectly located for exploring local highlights: • Parry’s Beach – 12 km • William Bay & Greens Pool – 19 km • Peaceful Bay – 28 km • Valley of the Giants & Tree Top Walk – 32 km • Plus local wineries, distilleries, breweries & chocolatiers You’ll have your own private driveway and parking, fully separate from the owner’s cottage. The gravel road is 2WD accessible. Check-in: after 2 pm Check-out: 11 am (flexible with prior arrangement) We do not charge a cleaning fee; we simply ask guests to leave the chalet tidy. Cleaning supplies and easy instructions are provided. This is a non-smoking accommodation and, due to the working farm, no pets are permitted. Please note our friendly farm dog, Zenne, a young champagne border collie, may greet you on arrival. She is well trained and not allowed indoors. Guest access Guests enjoy private access/parking under a large carport with auto sensing lights. The cottage is left unlocked for easy check-in. We request an SMS on your expected ETA so we can leave a light on for you if needed. It is recommended to arrive before sunset due to the rural location plus you'll want to have time to sit back and take it all in! You are welcome to explore the 250-acre farm and a mud map of the property is provided. Closed toed hiking shoes or wellies are recommended for exploring the property. Walking sticks are provided. Other things to note We don’t charge a cleaning fee, so we kindly ask guests to leave the chalet neat and tidy. Full details are outlined in the welcome letter and checkout checklist, and all cleaning supplies and appliances are provided for your convenience. Rest assured that the hosts will do an additional clean to ensure the chalet is in tip top condition and ready for each guest!
