The large shared kitchen and dining room is well equipped with oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine, as well as a generous selection of crockery, cutlery, glass and cookware, and refectory-style table. A mirrored bathroom with bath/shower, wash hand basin and WC completes the accommodation. WiFi, bedding and towels are all provided. Hairdryer, ironing board, drying rack etc all available on request. Parking: metered on-street parking 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday, free at all other times. The flat itself is on the ground floor of a traditional Victorian tenement in the popular area of Hillside, just east of the city centre. It is in easy walking distance of all major tourist attractions, museums and galleries, and less than a 15 minute walk from Princes Street. Valvona and Crolla, the renowned delicatessen, is a 5 minute walk, as are The Playhouse Theatre, the Omni Centre (cinema and leisure complex) and a wide range of restaurants, bars, boutiques and local food shops. The best views of Edinburgh can be experienced from the top of nearby Calton Hill, and the foot of Arthur's Seat is about a 25 minute walk away - don't forget to bring good walking shoes!
