Charming 1905 residence close to ‘Little Berlin’, trendy Elmegade quarter and City. Three bedrooms + loft, cozy family kitchen with balcony, living room, bathroom + 2 separate toilets, laundry room. 160m2 altogether. Nice backyard suited for dining. The apartment This bright and spacious two floor apartment is situated in a an pretty residential building from just around the beginning of the 19th century. 160m2 altogether with a scullery/laundry room integrated - almost like a house within the house. The apartment has have a functional family kitchen, a living room, a reading room, three bedrooms (one with a king size bed and a loft), a bathroom, two separate toilets (one on each floor) and a laundry room plus an extra relaxation room in the basement with a wood stove. The backyard is sunlit until 3 am and gives a perfect opportunity of dining outdoors. The area – Norrebro right in the middle of Copenhagen Norrebro is Copenhagen’s multicultural and young neighborhood. It is located in-between the city centre, Osterbro and Frederiksberg/Vesterbro. Norrebro is build up around the central street Norrebrogade, which is a semi car-free zone with plenty of cafes, exotic restaurants, delis, shawarma grills, shops and small supermarkets. Shopping/eating out Norrebro has a lot of alternative shopping possibilities and restaurants: Jaegersborggade/Stefansgade is Copenhagen's equivalent to Berlin's Kreuzberg with its many cozy places to eat and shop (alternative designs, jewelries and handicraft) and its relaxed atmosphere. Ravnsborggade is ideal for antique and second hand shopping and the area around Sankt Hans Torv/Elmegade is packed with small fashion shops, second hand bookstores, cafes etc. Parks/relaxation/amusement During spring and summer all corners of Norrebro are bustling with life. People hang out in the squares, relax in the grass or on a bench in the famous cemetery and public park Assistens - where many Danish notabilities are buried (Soren Kierkegaard, H.C. Andersen a.o.) - or line up in front of the small shops with homemade ice cream. Parks in Norrebro are known for their playgrounds and areas of recreation and relaxation: BaNanna Park (right behind this residential building), Norrebroparken, Superkilen whith its Red Square and Black Square and Faelledparken - one of the city's most spacious parks containing a skater park, the most beautifully crafted playground in Copenhagen and a water playground that tells the story of the cycle of water, holds a paddling pool and has interactive elements like water cannons, water wheels and dams plus lots of room for a picnic. The zoological museum, which is very kid-friendly and situated close to Faelledparken, is also worth a visit. Empire Cinema, one of the finest upmarket/arthouse movie theatres in Copenhagen, is located in Guldbergsgade very close to Sankt Hans Torv. Supermarkets are nearby: Irma 100 m up the street at Tagensvej, Netto a little further away on Tagensvej and Fakta, Netto and Kiwi Market 300 m away on Jagtvej. In-between you'll find the local bakery, fish and butcher shop and all kinds of ethnic greengroceries. Transportation The area is well connected by public busses along Norrebrogade on one side (ine 5A) and Tagensvej on the other (line 6A). It's a 10 min. ride into the city/Norreport Station where you can change for the Metro which runs directly to Copenhagen Airport. Transportation - Copenhagen Airport Bus line 6A at Tagensvej/Aegirsgade directly to Norreport Station - Change for Metro line at Norreport Station - Metro line directly to Copenhagen Airport. 40 min. altogether.
