The Old Schoolhouse has been converted from the original village school. Situated on a quiet lane with large gardens and wonderful views this unique house can sleep up to 11 people with ease. It is conveniently located close to the county town of Haverfordwest, with good access to all the walks, beaches and beauty that Pembrokeshire has to offer. Perfect for large family groups the property offers 4 reception rooms, 4 bedrooms with own bathrooms. Wifi + wired fast fibre internet throughout. The space The Space The Old Schoolhouse is huge! It’s perfect for large family groups and with 4 reception rooms, a roof terrace, garden patio and very large gardens there’s no danger of getting under each others feet. Entrance porch: Original stone walled school entrance with doorways to 2 reception rooms and wc. Reception 4 (The Den): Comfortable space with T.V, comfy sofa, large bean bag and board games. An ideal space for kids/teenagers. Reception 1 (The Wow Room): So called because on seeing it for the first time, visitors invariably exclaim ‘wow’! Original 10x 5 metre vaulted ceilinged schoolroom with ample seating, dining table, 1000kw multi fuel burner (perfect for cwtching up and watching the flames on cold evenings) and even a table tennis table if required. Reception 2 (The Sun Room): Large, light and airy mezzanine with feature window giving glorious views over the rolling Pembrokeshire countryside, the county town of Haverfordwest plainly visible in the distance. With access via stairs from the main room there is ample seating and a double sofa bed. A set of french doors leading to a large decked roof terrace, again with glorious views. The sofa bed in this room is most suitable for early risers as the sun can shine brightly ( no blinds or curtains). Reception 3 (The T.V Room): Smaller, snug vaulted schoolroom with comfortable sofas and 55 inch wall mounted T.V Kitchen: A very large, fully equipped kitchen with a 5 hob induction range 2 oven cooker ensuring that you can cook for the whole group without a problem. With an original stone wall running its whole width it also features a large welsh dresser, american style fridge freezer, dish washer, utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer and lovely views overlooking the countryside. French doors leading to a secluded back garden with a raised stone walled patio, again with sumptuous views. The bedrooms and bathrooms are situated in what used to be the schoolmaster's house and with 2 bedrooms on the ground floor our house is suitable for those who have difficulty with stairs. Bedroom 1 (Master): Ground floor with King size bed, ensuite wet room with ‘whirlpool bath' and shower, sink and w.c. Bedroom 2: Ground floor with twin beds, trolley bed, ensuite with seated, multi spray shower, sink and w.c. Bedroom 3: First floor with double bed, built in mirrored wardrobe, original wooden beams and a great view from window. Ensuite with shower, sink and w.c. Bedroom 4: First floor with twin beds and original wooden beams. Lovely views from windows and access to private bathroom via landing comprising bath/shower, sink and w.c. There is underfloor heating throughout the whole property with individual thermostats in every room. The first floor bedrooms also have wall mounted Warme heaters (the things that look like t.v’s in the photos) to give a quick boost if needed on cold winters nights. The Old School has 4 showers, 2 baths, 5 sinks and 5 w.c’s so no queueing even with large family groups! The situation is unique, spacious and private. Centrally located yet only a 5 minute drive from the county town of Haverfordwest it is ideal for exploring the numerous stunning beaches and coastal walks that Pembrokeshire has to offer. Close too are numerous historical visitor attractions, theme parks and beautiful towns and villages to explore. The younger guests will appreciate the seamless wifi throughout and there is a wired (CAT6) network with computer access points in all living, kitchen and bedrooms. Alternatively with 4 reception rooms, very large kitchen and extensive gardens the Old Schoolhouse is perfect for those who may want to just kick back, relax and enjoy each others company whilst having a bit of space if needed.
