Description

We have three large and private bedrooms for you in our light, spacious and comfortable detached house set back from the road by lawns. We live in a safe and friendly neighbourhood with shops, pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk. There is ample free parking and are just 1 mile off the M4 and 2 miles from Swansea City Centre. Please note we have a dog. The space When you book our house, whether you book one or more bedrooms, you will be our only guests as we will not accept any other bookings during your stay. Our house is large enough for Social Distancing and our main bathroom will be for your sole use. Baytree House is a family run B & B within the attractive village of Treboeth located within 1 mile south of Junction 46 of the M4 and 2 miles north of the centre of Swansea. Our spacious and modern house offers multiple bedrooms in an ideal location to explore Swansea Bay, The Mumbles and Gower with all its famous beaches such as Llangennith, Port Eynon, Oxwich, Langland Bay and Caswell Bay. Also, it makes a convenient half-way stop-over when travelling between the Severn Bridge and West Wales. Stay in our quiet, modern and large detached house where we will do our best to ensure you enjoy your visit. We have three guest rooms two of which are large double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. You can enjoy breakfast with us, included in the booking fee, with a selection of fresh juices and fruit, yogurts, cereals, toast, boiled or scrambled eggs and tea or coffee. We can accommodate for any dietary requirements with a few hours notice at no extra charge. Alternately you can pop across the road and have a full English breakfast in the Kings Head Pub at a very reasonable price from 8 am to 12 noon. Sit in our pleasant Guest's Day Room / Kitchenette or use one of our other two day rooms or lounge to relax in. Our large conservatory is always warm and light to sit in too. • Tea and coffee making facilities available all day. Microwave oven, kettle, toaster, own fridge, freezer and sink for guests use. • Central heating throughout and free use of small wall safe. • Use our Laundry Room (limited loads) free use of washing and drying machine, airier and outside rotary line for guests staying for a week or more. • Some disabled facilities available include level access from car park and a stair lift but no wheelchair accessible toilet yet. • All rooms are no-smoking but there are smoking areas in garden away from the house. • Free fast Wi-Fi throughout our home and Flat Screen TV and DVD Player with selection of films in our lounge. • Free off-road parking for two cars at rear. • Children and pets welcome but please discuss when booking as we have a dog. • Lifts available at selected times to city centre, railway and bus station. Frequent bus service and bus stop within one minute’s walk. Local pub with restaurant and shops also within one minute’s walk. Just ask if their is anything else you need including lifts into the city centre at curtain times. • Check-in from 2 pm to 8 pm Check-out please before 10 am. Free use of luggage store should you want to leave your bags safely before or after check-in / check-out. Touring itineraries can be put together for you once we know your preferences. Also, picnic bags can be assembled to your requirements at basic cost to allow you to be roam in the countryside or on the beaches. • Walks: 2 miles from Penllergaer Forest and Woodland walks. 4 miles from Lower Lliw Valley Reservoir. • Visits: 3 miles from Clyne Gardens and woods. 2 miles of Swansea Bay Promenade walk to the SA1 Maritime Quarter or the famous Mumbles Village. Just 6 miles from Gower with spectacular scenery. All year round fun in the Leisure Centre with large swimming pools, water slides and plenty of fun for children. Maritime Museum, public golf course, bike hire shop close to sea front. Land train in summer months along the promenade or walk the 5 miles with pubs and cafes to take a break. River cruises up the Tawe during the summer season. Beach and Watersports facilities in Swansea Bay with attractive cafe with sea views. Spectacular restaurant and coffee lounge on the 27th floor of Promenade Tower Hotel with wonderful panoramic views over Swansea Bay, over the city and up through the hills towards the famous Black Mountains. Visit our modern National Waterfront Museum on a rainy day. There is a Boating Lake on the seafront and Crazy Golf for all the family. We can put together suggested itineraries for sight seeing tours by car, walking or public transport. We have built up a list of websites recommended for planning your sightseeing trips so please ask for them to be emailed to you after booking a room. Guest access Social Distancing will be observed. My husband and I live here but you have access not only to your three bedrooms but can use the several living rooms, a kitchenette which has a fridge, microwave, kettle, sink, dishes, cutlery and breakfast items. You can also join us in our conservatory and garden during the day. The Electric Vehicle Charging Point on drive can be used for your electric car. Please note that guest are asked not to use our main kitchen but can bring back take-aways to eat in the kitchenette. During your stay You can come and go as they like during the day but we like to lock up at about 11 pm so you can use a key for later access. Most guests like to sit and talk to us over breakfast, social distancing allowing, before going out and later in the day when they return to tells us about their wonderful adventures over a cup of tea. Other things to note We have a large Labrador called Homer and two cats. Homer is quiet and very friendly and does not enter our guests' bedrooms but he roams freely around the ground floor and garden so you will meet him. If you are uncomfortable around pets (have 2 cats) then you might not enjoy our home. Free Super Fast WIFI at 100 MPS throughout the house. New radiators individually controlled in the rooms.
