Description

Beautiful apartment set in a leafy courtyard , this 17th century complex feature a renovated apartment that sleeps two very comfortably, but can accommodate up to a young family of four- snugly. Medieval beams run throughout this luminous duplex located steps from the legendary Rue Mouffetard outdoor market. Restaurants and shops abound in the “quartier”. Entering the calm flower-filled, cobble-stoned courtyard, one is instantly immersed in "La Belle Paris" of Hemingway's Latin Quarter The space Details: Living room with beams and sleeper sofa, double (140 cm). Dining nook and sofa with TV/Internet. 1 Double-bedded Bedroom(140 cm) with beams 1 Bathroom 1 Dining nook/sitting room with sofa 1 Large, well-equipped Kitchen Absolutely no smokers or pets. Guest access Access is via Rue Broca. Enter courtyard via code provided. Building A is the first on your left. My apartment is on the second level. Coming up the stairs, the door faces one. A second "porte condamee" (blocked door) immediately to your right has the key box attached to its frame. To the left of the door, a huge flower arrangement in a window box. Other things to note The residents of 36 Rue Broca are very respectful of one another. The complex is peaceful and raging parties are not tolerated. This is a place to "come home to" in Paris. Its a haven of peace and a respite from the cacophony of the center of Paris. Note that from the apartment, you can pretty much walk everywhere within 30 minutes. The Eiffel Tower and Champs-Elysses are a short commute away. I love walking up to the Seine and having a drink either on the Quais or at Le Brasserie de l"ile Saint Louis, where I look out across the water to the buttresses of Notre Dame. It is my favorite traditional Alsatian bistro in Paris, but my favorite place for a drink with a view. Registration details 7510504616059
