We love Margate and we think that our apartment in the Old Town is a perfect base to make the most of all that this amazing town has to offer. The apartment is on the 1st floor of a beautiful, flint walled c18th building in the heart of Margate's Old Town. Step out of the door and you will find many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Also, the apartment is a stone's throw from the beautiful harbour and beach, in fact you can see the sea when you look down the street from the master bedroom! The space We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible and want to provide a real "home from home". Anything you need, let us know and we will do our best to get it for you. Cleanliness has always been of paramount importance to us, however we want to reaasure you that we follow extensive cleaning and disinfecting guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19. These guidelines are based on recommendations from experts and government health organisations. The apartment has loads of character and oozes history. The building was built in the early 18th century and as such expect the features that a building of this age presents, high ceilings and the odd creaky floorboard! The apartment comfortably sleeps six people. The main bedroom has a king sized bed, the second bedroom has two single beds and the living room has a sofa bed. All of the beds have good quality, comfortable mattresses and we provide quality bed linen and towels. The bathroom has a bath and hand held shower attachment but please note we don't have a stand up shower. Take the opportunity to enjoy leisurely baths while you are away. we provide Faith in Nature body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a fridge, freezer and washing machine (detergent and fabric softener provided for your use). We also provide tea, coffee and milk. Adjoining the kitchen is a lovely big dining area with a large table and chairs. The comfortable living room is equipped with Freesat TV and an Amazon Alexa. Additionally the apartment is equipped with full central heating and superfast fibre broadband. Other things to note As you will see from the photos, the apartment is above a restaurant and as such you may experience some noise (background music and general chatting). The restaurant opens at 12pm and usually is quiet after 10pm, often earlier. The restaurant is always quiet in the morning so no issue with lie ins! It is closed on Sundays with the exception of special occasions and bank holidays when it is sometimes open for lunch. As a guest in the apartment you can enjoy a 10% discount and even have food delivered to your door if you like.
