Just a two-minute stroll from the iconic Rialto Bridge and ten from the enchanting St. Mark’s Square, you’ll be surrounded by the city’s vibrant life (shops, restaurants, and historic cafés) while remaining steps away from its quieter, more authentic soul. Ideal for a romantic escape or for those eager to explore Venice’s treasures, the apartment is also conveniently located near a vaporetto stop. Please note: as is typical in many historic Venetian buildings, there is no elevator. Guest access Entire apartment at your disposal. In the surroundings you will find restaurants, bars, bacari, supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, butchers and any other type of shop. From the apartment on foot you can reach in a few minutes San Marco Square, the luxury shopping streets, the famous Campo Erbaria used to host a vegetable market and the famous Fish Market, the Accademia Gallery, the Ca' D'Oro Gallery and all the most famous places in the city. The public boat transport service stops less than 5 minutes on foot from the apt: from "Rialto" stop-boat you can take the lines cross the city on the Canal Grande connecting terminal Tronchetto, Piazzale Roma, the railways station Venezia Santa Lucia, Giudecca and Lido islands, and all the most famous places of the city. From "Rialto" stop-boat you can also take the Alilaguna orange line service that connects the city of Venice with the Marco Polo airport. Other things to note CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT CMy check-in hours are from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Late check-in is available from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM, but only upon request and subject to a €40 surcharge, payable in cash upon arrival. Kindly note that check-in must be completed no later than midnight. To ensure a smooth arrival, it is essential that we agree on a scheduled meeting time at least 2 days before your arrival,. Upon check-in, you will be welcomed, and the necessary registration formalities will be completed, as guest registration is required in Italy. The day of your departure, I ask you kindly to leave your apartment by 10.00 am. Before your departure I kindly remind you to dispose of your garbage and opened food, leave the kitchen without dirty dishes and pots in the sink, turn off lights and air conditioning and close the windows. TOURIST TAX The Tourist Tax is not included in Airbnb price and it has to be paid upon arrival, when registration and check-in takes place and will be levied on the first five consecutive nights of any overnight stay. Children under the age of 10 do not pay the tax. The rate is instead reduced by 50% in the case of young people aged between 10 and 15. The tourist tax is a mandatory contribution to the Municipality to help preserve the cultural heritage of Venice. WASTE DISPOL A guide with more information is available in the apartment KEYS Two sets of keys are given to the guests. The loss of one set of key or the failure to return one set of keys will cost €150. If both sets of keys are forgotten inside the house and guests need someone to come open up, the intervention requires 2 or 3 hours (I am not living in Venice) and costs €30 within 7 pm, €50 between 7 pm and 8.30 pm and €100 after 8.30 pm. QUIET TIMES You are kindly requested to observe to following quiet times: 10.30 PM - 8.00 AM. Please do not make noise during this time and respect the night time peace of your neighbours.
