Kauri Cottage is set on the grounds of the historic Hahei homestead, Kauri Cottage is a beautiful self-contained one bedroom cottage. Nestled amongst the native trees the cottage is the ultimate getaway for your relaxing holiday. A short walk down a Pohutakawa lined walkway is the gorgeous Hahei Beach. The beautiful tourist destination Cathedral Cove lookout is also on your doorstep. Kayak hire is available.The shops and cafes are just across the road. Built in 2020 this cottage is brand new. The space Kauri Cottage is built in a way to reflect the original character of the homestead which is an historic building in Hahei. The grounds have a natural stream and native bush which is home to Tuis and Wood pigeons. You can hear the ocean at night from your room. This is one of two cottages on the property so perfect for two couples, or families coming to the beautiful village of Hahei. Other things to note Turn right into Grange Road. Turn right into the property on the corner of Tutaritari Road. Park next to the rope infront of the sign "Kauri Cottage". Walk along the stream for a minute, past the old Pohutakawa tree and up to the right is your cottage. Key box is on the wall. 1945.
