The Whitehouse is an extended traditional stone-built forest cottage located in the Forest of Dean village of Pillowell overlooking the forest. Two minutes walk from the front door takes you to an extensive range of forest tracks. Beautiful setting at any time of year. The cottage has 5 bedrooms (one with en suite bathroom) and sleeps up to 10 comfortably. There is a large garden on 3 sides and a double garage with further off-street parking for 2 additional cars. The space There is a huge living room/dining room with grand piano, 50" smart TV, large oak dining table (seats 10-12) and a games room with a full-size table tennis table. The kitchen (and adjoining breakfast-room) is well-equipped with an extensive range of crockery and cooking utensils, double oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and separate fridge-freezer, coffee-maker, toaster. Utility room with washer-dryer. Beautiful garden with fruit trees, lawns and flower beds. Patio and outdoor dining area with a good range of garden furniture including a large circular wrought-iron table with parasol shade, folding gazebo and BBQ. All bed linen, towels, utilities inclusive. A travel-cot and 2 high-chairs are also available. Guest access In addition to the garage and off-street parking (can accomodate 3-4 cars) there is also free on road parking, although we ask guests to be sensitive to the parking needs of other village residents. Other things to note Please note that beyond the extensive patio area, the garden is sloping down towards the road and that while it is enclosed by dry-stone walls and entrance gates, young children will need to be supervised.
