Unique & enchanting cave house

More Hobbit than Batman (no parking), this little cave house is built into the limestone cliff above the beautiful Provençal village of Cotignac. One of the most enchanting properties in the area, it has a garden with roses, palms, cacti and oleander. Panoramic view of the village. Parking nearby but the property has no vehicle access, only steep narrow path. This is the owner’s painting studio - easel available. Eagle owls nest above - no late parties/loud music. Fitness required The space The property has a studio style kitchen area, table and chair and easy chair and cellar with fridge. Stairs lead to a mezzanine level with a bedroom (new bed and comfortable new mattress 160X200cm) and small bathroom with shower, loo and sink. Guest access Guests have sole use of the house and garden. But we do come and water the plants once a day in summer. The cliff path in front is public so people sometimes walk past. Around the 5-14 April the banksia rose is out - see photos - it almost covers the entire apartment and cottage.
