Just 2 mins walk away is a bus stop with buses every 10 mins into Edinburgh. A train station half a mile away has regular trains into centre of Edinburgh or to the beautiful Scottish Borders. A Morrisons Supermarket is just 5 mins walk or a large Tesco with fuel station a 2 mins drive. Great local restaurants. Easy access to Glasgow on M8 or to Forth Bridges. Queensferry is a lovely day out and a days sailing is available at Port Edgar. Eskbank Villa is the perfect place for getting away from it all yet close enough to explore Edinburgh City delights! Close by are the beaches & Links Golf courses along the scenic East Lothian coast line. A visit to the seaside town North Berwick is a great trip out! 10 mins walk away is the Duke of Buccleuch’s Dalkeith Country Park with delightful walks along the river Esk or through the old oak woodland & afterwards why not visit the cafe or restaurant at Restoration Yard or even do a spot of shopping.
