The Lodge at Mount Ophir Estate

'The Lodge' at Mount Ophir Estate blends country charm with modern design. The Lodge is located on the perimeter of the property with views across the farmland to the Mount Ophir iconic tower. The space Mount Ophir Estate is currently operating as an exclusive site for unique, luxury accommodation, private events, including Rutherglen weddings and corporate getaways. The Lodge comfortably accommodates up to four guests across two bedrooms - one with a split-bed option - and one bathroom (with an over-bath shower), it is an ideal house for a family or friends travelling together. The Lodge has seating areas including a dining room with a large open fire place, kitchen, breakfast bar, full laundry, and a beautiful deck area with seating and a BBQ. A light, continental-style breakfast will be provided for guests to enjoy including a freshly baked white sourdough loaf from Valentines Bakery, milk, tea, coffee and sugar. Upon arrival, you'll also receive a bottle of All Saints Estate wine. The fire place may be used between the months of May - October. Fire wood and kindling will be supplied between the months of May - September. Please be considerate when using the wood and only use the kindling to start the fire and the larger logs to keep the fire going. Guest access As a guest of the estate, you are able to access the whole property for long walks, bike riding, reading and fishing. We ask kindly that you do not feed or try to pat the animals on the estate. Please park your cars neatly away from the house and farm gates. Other things to note Mount Ophir Estate has various houses and we ask our guests to be considerate to other guests on the property and our neighbours. Please do not light fires outside at any time of the year as it is a serious fire risk. We are a working farm, so we ask politely for you to look after the environment and leave minimal waste. There is security on all gates, and we ask that you please keep all external gates closed and locked. In regards to breakfast, bread, milk, butter, spreads, tea, coffee (Nespresso pods) sugar and Carman’s Muesli are all provided. Olive oil, salt and pepper is also included for guests use. Please use the kindling and logs to light the fire and just the logs to keep it going, do not top up with kindling.
