The apartment for rent is on the lower level of a multi-storey house, with direct access to a private garden with barbecue – perfect for enjoying relaxed dinners under the stars. The accommodation includes 3 bedrooms (two doubles and one with two single beds), 3 bathrooms (2 with showers), a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area, a balcony with sweeping views over the Ogliastra plain, and cozy interiors decorated with stone, wood, and authentic Sardinian antiques. Provided amenities include: bed linen, towels, kettle, hairdryer, and a fully equipped kitchen. 📶 There is no Wi-Fi, but mobile signal is excellent with all major providers and international roaming works without issue. A café with internet is just a short walk away, near the church. The location is ideal for a holiday between sea and mountains. You’re close to the stunning coves of the Gulf of Orosei – Cala Goloritzé, Cala Mariolu, Cala Sisine, Cala Luna – and to larger, serviced beaches like Orrì, Cea, and Marina di Barisardo. The inland region is perfect for nature lovers, with hiking and biking trails, off-road jeep routes, and archaeological sites such as Nuraghi, Domus de Janas, and Giants’ Tombs. Ogliastra is also a paradise for food lovers, with freshly baked bread, Sardinian cheeses, local meats, fish, vegetables, Cannonau wine, and traditional desserts. ✈️ The nearest airports are Cagliari and Olbia, served by Ryanair, EasyJet, Lufthansa, Volotea, and others. Car rentals are available at both airports. Sardinia is also easily reachable by ferry from several Italian ports. 🚗 From Cagliari, the drive to Baunei takes about 2 hours, along a scenic coastal road. Guest access 📍 How to reach the house: As you enter Baunei, turn left before the gas station, onto Via Roma. Continue until the road forks at a small fountain, then keep left onto Via Boccaccio. The road is narrow – drive carefully with large vehicles. The house is further up on the left – look for the “Boccaccio” sign – you’ve arrived! Other things to note 📌 Important Information Before Your Arrival 🏷️ Tourist Tax: As required by the Municipality of Baunei, a tourist tax of €1.50 per person per night applies to all guests over 12 years old. The tax is charged for a maximum of 7 nights and is not included in the Airbnb price (payment exclusively via Pay Pal)on arrival (not included in the Airbnb price). 🛂 Mandatory Guest Registration (Italian Law): Italian law obliges us to register every guest with the police for national security reasons.
