The Green Bungalow Hot Springs

Walk to the West Mountain trail head or to Bathhouse Row from here! There are often deer in the back yard, and at night you can see horses and carriages go by from the Arlington Hotel.> The renovation of the house to make it fun, cozy, and safe for our guests has been a labor of love. We welcome any visitors who will respect and enjoy the property!! We have a portable Pack and Play for toddlers! We love children! The dining area faces the Park, and the TV room is between that and the kitchen! The space We have a full kitchen for you who enjoy cooking! And weather permitting, you can serve your guests on the back porch and look out for deer who come down from the mountain almost every evening. We provide organic coffee, and half and half, chips and salsa, and juice - there is also emergency food in the cabinets in case you need to stir up a pasta dish! There are great restaurants near by of course, too! There are two bedrooms. One with a Queen bed, the other with a double and twin bed. Hardwood floors throughout the living areas and tile in the kitchen. We have streaming service for our guests as well as many, many DVDs to help you escape and relax in the evenings! Plenty of movies for kids, too! There is art on the walls and on the mantle. As a former gallery owner, I have enjoyed collecting and sharing our collection. The best thing about being here is the park and the trees everywhere! One loop around the park is 1.25 miles! and the distance to Central Ave. is about the same, so bring your walking shoes! We have central air and heat and wonderful deep bathtub, shampoo and other toiletries are provided if you don't have your own! Usually, we are right next door in case you need anything. We want you to have a happy and memorable time in Hot Springs!! Guest access We have private parking in the back, with easy entry to the back deck/covered porch! Just take the driveway between the yellow house next door and the Green Bungalow and park around back! There is only one step up onto the porch with the kitchen door entry right there!!! Easy for bringing things in! Other things to note There are extra linens in the master bedroom and cleaning supplies under the sink and in an adjacent cabinet. There is a washer and dryer, but I prefer that you just leave your towels hanging on hooks when you leave (there are plenty of hooks around) and linens on the beds or piled in the hamper, and we will do the major washing. The stove is gas and there are two separate eating areas, not counting the kitchen island. I am big into recycling, so there will be a separate container for your recycles next to the trash can.
