A secluded 2 bedroom lodge with wood burning stove in a peaceful and tranquil location . We are pet friendly with an enclosed garden, and a large fully-enclosed deck offering panoramic views. You can relax or dine outdoors on the covered deck and simply soak up the wonderful views of the rolling hills and nature that surrounds the lodge. On a chilly day you may prefer to put your feet up by the wood burning stove with a good book or choose one of our movies on offer. Max 2 dogs extra charge The space Those who enjoy walking and hiking are spoilt for choice with the West Highland Way right on our doorstep, and Ben Lomond which is the most southerly of the Munros. The Conic Hill at Balmaha is a very popular climb and has some stunning views of Loch Lomond. The east side of Loch Lomond can be reached within 10 minutes where you can hop aboard for a cruise around the Islands of Loch Lomond or take to the water for one of the many watersports on offer. It's a great location for a golfing holiday in Scotland with several courses close by including the International Loch Lomond Golf Club, Gleneagles, Buchanan Castle Golf Club and The Carrick. Many of our guests use Stable Lodge as a great base to explore Stirling, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs. It’s hard to believe this stunning rural location is just 30 minutes drive from the historic town of Stirling and the bustling city center of Glasgow. We accept 2 dogs max per booking which must be pre booked in advance with their name and breed. There is an additional charge of £15 per dog per night. Guest access The entire lodge is sole use for you to enjoy - max 4 guests in total including children and babies. £15 per night per dog. 2 dogs max which must be pre booked in with their name & breed. Logs are £15 per box Other things to note Due to our rural location it is essential you let us know your estimated arrival time one week prior to arrival. You can check in between 2-6pm. The main source of heating is the wood burning stove. Extra logs are available to buy at £15 per box. Please strip the beds and empty all your bins before your depart.
