Come relax in our new stylish Cottage! Norris Lake’s own "Shorty's Paradise" is located in a quiet community @ Hickory Star Marina. This cutey has everything you could want w/ new furnishings & is ready to help create new memories! The outside areas are a top favorite! Enjoy S'mores by the fire pit, front porch swinging, or take the kayaks out for a spin on Norris Lake. Hickory Star Marina is a 1 min drive where 1000’s of “big fish stories” have been told & a million adventures await you! The space Shorty's Paradise is an Open floor concept with approx 600 sqft to enjoy. Featuring 1 master bedroom with closet. Living area with pullout sleeper sofa. Stackable washer/dryer in bathroom. Spend meal times outside enjoying each other's company. S’mores around the fire pit at night is one of our favorites! Hickory Star Marina is very close by and offers pontoon boat rentals and overnight slip rentals. Fishing bait and tackle can be rented there as well. Not to mention a great bar & Arjay's Restaurant! Enjoy live entertainment on Friday & Saturday nights Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend. You can also take a short drive to The Winery at Seven Springs Farm to try locally made award winning wine, locally sourced goods, and crafts. You can drop your boat and trailer at the marina parking lot before coming to the house. The house has a 2 car paved driveway, so parking is limited to 2 vehicles. Other things to note No pets. No smoking inside home. No exceptions. We supply a starter kit of towels, linens, TP & PT, basic toiletries. Please plan accordingly for extras you may need:) Also, remember to bring firewood for fire pit and beach towels for the Lake. Be sure to print out directions as the area can have spotty phone service. Make sure when leaving home to put directions into GPS, and then again before departing the cottage. House is not lake front.
