Typical rustic village suitable for 7 people. Located in a very peaceful village, this house provides you and your family a great retreat near the beach and on the countryside. The house comprises a small pool, a gorgeous garden and barbecue area. For your family’s privacy and safety, the place is all fenced. We are animal lovers, so your pets will be very welcome. In the garden there is a small stable with a box for one horse and we also have a small ring where you can ride enjoying the sun. The space Casa do Cabeço is located on the Silver Coast, where you can find wonderful golden sandy beaches suitable and safe for all the family. S. Martinho do Porto beach is 4 Km far, the most beautiful shell shaped bay in Europe, ideal for children. Foz do Arelho is 2 Km far and Nazaré, the typical fisherman village is only 15 Km away. The village is known worldwide for it’s big waves, where the world’s surfing record was beaten by Garett McNamara. Here you can find a big beach with a lot of facilities, sports and leisure areas. If you prefer a more historical itinerary you can visit the medieval town of Óbidos that is just 15 Km far or the town of Alcobaça and its majestic Gothic style Monastery, just 20 Km far. Caldas da Rainha is an historical town where you can visit the oldest Thermal Hospital in the world. Furthermore there are several spots in the neighborhoods that worth a visit: the D. Carlos I Park, the museums, including José Malhoa Museum as well as the famous Fruit Market, right in the city center. In the surroundings you can see Peniche which is a surfing beach where you can get a boat to visit the Island of Berlengas, which is a Nature Reserve. A pleasant town to stroll and take in the history of this old fishing town, Peniche has a 16 century fortress. Close by is Baleal which has some of the finest surf to be found on the Atlantic Coast. The medieval village of Óbidos is 15 Km away and it is the centre of some of Portugal’s gorgeous history with it’s cobblestoned streets and flower beds along the sidewalks. Óbidos is delightful to visit when they have their festivals. From Opera to the International Chocolate Festival to the Medieval Fair, here in this town full of wonderful heritage where you will hear so many different languages spoken. Fátima, one of the world's most iconic peregrination spots is only 50 Km away. Lisbon's international airport is less than 1 hour driving. Transfers to the airport are avaliable on request.
