Authentic House Pelegrinka has a unique position on the Island with easy access to different beaches in the proximity that always offer a great bathing experience. House has plenty of private outdoor space (474m2) with several sunny terraces, and a couple of them are protected by a deep shadow from the biggest and possibly oldest tree on the island. On the property, you will find many Mediterranean spices and herbs, which will be at your disposal for preparing meals. The space An outdoor fireplace with a one-piece stone table and stone benches is one of many locations you could choose to enjoy your meal and watch the sea. Due to the west orientation of the property, you will definitely finish your day enjoying the sunset at one of our two sunset terraces. The house itself has more than 80 square meters of living spaces with two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed on the ground level and another in the western part of the house on the first floor with direct access to the balcony facing the Vela Rina bay. The latter has entry from the living area below by climbing up the wooden stairs. It consists of a double and a single bed. The living room with the dining area is naturally cooled by the thick walls of the authentic house, which is additionally shaded with the tree therefore you will not need additional cooling with an AC. In the intersection of the lavatory, living, dining, sleeping, and cooking is a small lounge area room. House can comfortably accommodate 5 people, but with the use of an extended sofa bed in the living/dining room we receive a maximum of 6 people. Every second day in the summer months fisherman from neighbor Vinišče is bringing fresh fish, but as the island has only one small basic shop that is open on the ferry arrival, we suggest buying food in Trogir marketplace or many supermarkets. Mali Drvenik has despite the size a couple of decent restaurants that offer Mediterranean and international cousins with the addition of a beach bar in the bay of Vela Rina. For those hungry for adventure and exploration, we partnered with a local boat rental for you to explore the neighboring islands such as Šolta, Hvar, Brač or even Vis and Biševo being farthest and still less than 50km away. Guest access If you Fly to Dalmatia, the Ferry boat is less than 10 minutes taxi drive to the port, but if you arrive with your own car, we advise you to book the ticket prior to arrival online. Free parking space for your car will be at the public parking not far from the house. Other things to note Authentic house Pelegrinka is situated at the Western part of Mali Drvenik island in the village Petomavar heading to Vela Rina bay, and Italian Pescara. Mali Drvenik is one of the smallest inhabited islands in Dalmatia, not far from the ancient towns of Trogir and Split. House is rebuilt from its original shape and materials, to reach modern standards of accommodation, but was original built in a way that is comfortable to stay all year around. Unique position at small hill only a few hundred meters from the sea, protect the house against Bora and Southern wind and allow fresh Maestral wind to cool then place in the summer afternoons. Snorkeling, scuba diving, windsurfing, and other sports are possible, and daily excursions, with a sped boat to the islands of Vis and Biševo, could be organized if announced in advance. At reservation prior to arrival, you can rent a small motorboat to explore the island by yourself.
