Nestled just a 10-minute drive from Currie, the main township, Shore House is a sanctuary offering respite from the demands of the real world. Upon landing at King Island Domestic Airport (KNS), a brief five-minute drive immerses you in the serenity of Shore House, surrounded by coastal hills, lush bushes, and verdant vegetation. This is modern coastal luxury at its best. Shore House beckons up to eight guests to unwind in absolute privacy, sharing precious moments with loved ones while relishing in King Island's renowned local produce and embracing panoramic vistas. The four exquisitely appointed bedrooms, featuring king beds (or eight long singles), cater to the diverse needs of groups and families. Against the breathtaking backdrop of the Great Southern Ocean, Shore House invites you into a realm of contemporary opulence, showcasing the mesmerizing blue vista through expansive floor-to-ceiling glass. Immerse yourself in the beachfront ambiance with a private outdoor bespoke sauna, sunken timber hot tub, and an outdoor mosaic shower. LAYOUT 4 Bedrooms and 3 bathrooms are on the upper level with kitchen, dining, living area and a powder room are located downstairs with access to the outdoor deck area, hot tub, outdoor shower and sauna. All bedrooms can sleep either king beds or two king singles in each room. The master bedroom is spacious with an ensuite, wardrobe space and stunning ocean views. The second and third bedrooms are ample sized also with wardrobe space and ocean views. These two bedrooms share a bathroom. Our fourth bedroom is quite small, it is spacious enough with two single beds. Luggage to be stored in the mudroom. This smaller bedroom however has access to its own bathroom across the hallway. Guest access Guests will have access and exclusive use of the entire property. The property is located by Little Porky Beach for which you can walk to in under 100 steps from the back doors. The coastline from here is lovely to trek along, by going north you can walk along the point to get to the main Porky Beach. Car hire is essential for exploring the island. The main town Currie is 10 minutes drive. The property is private and secure and can only be accessed through double gates via a code. We have plenty of space for parking. Your comfort and connectivity are our priorities. Island Logistics: Please note that Telstra is the sole phone network on the island. To ensure seamless communication, we recommend organizing a pre-paid SIM before your arrival. Alternatively, Telstra SIMs can be purchased at the local post office. Transportation: As there is no public transport or taxi service on the island, we recommend car rental for ease of exploration and mobility. Booking Information: Our accommodation rate is based on a twin share per room. For bookings involving four people, two bedrooms will be allocated. Any additional bedrooms or bathrooms used beyond the initial booking will incur an extra guest rate of $250.00 per room per night. This fee covers additional cleaning and linen expenses. The maximum occupancy for this property is eight guests, ensuring an intimate and comfortable experience for all. If the property is left beyond a reasonable clean standard we may be required to charge guests an additional cleaning fee based on $60/hr to cover the additional cleaning costs required.
