Charming sunny apartment in Banyuls

Right in the heart of the village, this sunny and comfortable apartment for 2 to 3 persons will allow you to be at the farmers market, local shops or beach within 1 minute. The terrace is delightful for breakfast and dinners Linens towels provided The space I let my apartment for short to medium holiday stays (special prices for long stays with cleaning service possible). It is a 900sq ft, 2 bedrooms very bright and charming apartment with a terrace overlooking a green courtyard-garden below. The kitchen and the living-room look onto the terrace and green gardens of the neighborhood, the apartment has nice high ceilings and really a lot of light. Charming old floor cement decorated tiles. Bathroom with a bath tub / shower, sink, WC, washing machine and there is a second WC outside on the terrace in an "outhouse". It sleeps 4 people (2 beds 160cm and 120cm) plus there is a sofa/daybed (for 1) in the living room. The kitchen is new, there is Internet connection and I will leave space in my closets for the guests who will be very welcome to use my things, books, cd, iPod station, etc.. as if they stayed at a friend's home, with all the books and music at their disposal. The location is 1 minute walk from Banyuls front beach and right in the heart of the village with all commodities around (shops, bars, restaurants). More details : air conditioning / wifi / heating / table and chairs on the terrace. Linen, towels and all the usual kitchenware + fridge, freezer, oven etc... Train station is 6 minutes away (walking). Bus to anywhere in the region for 1€ per trip ("1€ buses" in Roussillon). Banyuls is a lovely small wine producing town, the farmers market is twice a week, on thursdays and sundays. Many activities like swimming, diving (national marine reservation), boat/kayak renting, trekking, wine tasting. Spanish border at 10km, Barcelona is 2h away, we have a train station in Banyuls sur mer, airport in Perpignan and in Girona (both 1h away). Plus... my uncle Jules has his small winery downstairs and will be happy to show you around and let you taste his delicious wines from Domaine de Villa Rose, our 4th generation wine estate. Charming place at the very south of France, with a catalan cultural strong identity and splendid food and wine ! Other things to note Tips ! The handle needs to be lifted in the highest position in order to lock the door. You will find the Wifi password and house intructions in french and english on the entrance door. Garbage is collected twice a week, the small containers are downstairs, make sure you put them outside in the street the night before collection (see instructions downstairs).
