Traditional Irish Streethouse
Traditional Irish Streethouse
Description
A traditional Irish Street House, 5 Ashe Street is over 200 years old. We have extensively renovated and decorated in a simple style with an industrial feel. Smack bang on the town square, you will be right in the middle of the cosmopolitan village life of Clonakilty. The space 5 Ashe St. is a very narrow street house which has wonderful views of Clonakilty village life from each of the 4 floors. There are carpeted stairs with handrails but no lift. With a fully equipped kitchen you can enjoy sourcing and cooking with abundant local produce. There is limited sitting room areas, but we hope you will be out & about enjoying all that Clonakilty has to offer. Guest access Guests will have access to all areas of the house including a small back courtyard to catch the morning sun. There is a small sitting space at the front of the house looking over the town square, and a Den on the 2nd floor. Other things to note We ask that you are mindful of locking the front door as we are directly on a main thoroughfare of town, and that you remember not to take our keys home with you! Being right in the centre of town, there could be some noise issue on the weekends with people making their way home. The front door opens directly onto the street, making the house unsuitable for children. We have a strict No Smoking policy which extends to the rear courtyard. Thank you for observing this requirement.
