La Dorépontaise – Mongolian Yurt

Surrounded by nature for a change of scenery and total relaxation. A beautiful traditional Mongolian yurt of 35m2, comfortable and cosy, in the heart of a large biodiversity garden. Ideal for a peaceful stay with family or friends, perfect for walkers and cyclists. Swimming pool and numerous activities on site, in the heart of the Gironde's rich heritage (castles, medieval villages, vineyards...). Eco-responsible management, unusual accommodation and wide open spaces for a great holiday! The space Real traditional Mongolian yurt, made from natural materials (larch wood, felt and waterproof canvas). It can accommodate 4 people (up to 6 max) and includes: a double bed and two single beds (+2 possible extra beds), a chest of drawers and a small wardrobe containing extra blankets and pillows, a coffee table and 4 stools. Simple and colourful! Right next to the yurt you'll find a kitchen and bathroom (with shower and washbasin), which can be shared with other campers, as well as separate toilets and a shaded terrace with barbecue and deckchairs. Guest access You can enjoy all the outdoor facilities on the place: swimming pool and bar, petanque area, ping-pong table, table football, swing and other children's games... You can also discover the large biodiversity garden, the young orchard and vegetable patch, the chickens and the beehives! In the entrance hall of the house, you'll find tourist information, a library and board games for all the family! Other things to note -> The interior areas are NON SMOKING and we ask you NOT TO EAT (or bring food) into the rooms. The adjacent COMMON KITCHEN is fully equipped (fridge, hob, storage and crockery) and is provided for this purpose. -> We are committed to an ECO-RESPONSIBLE APPROACH and are developing our activities in line with environmentally-friendly practices. We'd be delighted to share tips and advice with you if you're interested. -> As the yurt is rented as a gîte, BED LINEN* and TOWELS are optional. If you cannot or do not wish to bring your own linen, we can provide a ‘double bed + 2 towels’ kit for 15€ or a ‘single bed + 1 towel’ kit for 10€. In all cases, pillows and blankets are available in the gîtes. *bed linen: fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillow case (double bed 140x190cm and single bed 90x190cm) -> As the yurt is rented as a gîte, you are responsible for the CLEANING. We provide all the necessary equipment and products (only ecological). We therefore ask you to leave the place at least as clean as you found it. However, if you do not wish to take care of the cleaning when you leave, we can take care of it for a fee of €50. In all cases, we ALWAYS ask that the dishes are washed and the the bins are emptied. -> COMMON AREAS (kitchen and toilets) must ALWAYS be kept clean and tidy. Thank you! :) -> As part of our eco-responsible management policy, we ask you to respect RECYCLING /selective waste sorting (containers and information are supplied). -> BREAKFAST is not included. However, if you are a cyclist or walker, please ask us (at least 48 hours in advance). We can provide breakfasts for €7/person and €5/child under 12. -> We offer a selection of LOCAL AND CRAFT PRODUCTS for sale, as well as products from the family's MICRO-FARM, subject to availability (honey, eggs, vegetables, aromatic plants). Just ask us! -> For cyclists and walkers, we can exceptionally provide TABLE D'HÔTES, on request and subject to availability. -> Our dog Titus will be delighted to welcome you! As well as the chickens who roam freely around the property. If you would like to bring your PET, please contact us for details. -> The region offers a wide range of ACTIVITIES (heritage, nature, sports and leisure, arts and entertainment, etc.). We'd be delighted to recommend some.
