Sandals at Culburra Beach

The complete, low key beach getaway! Very close to Jervis Bay. Looking over the bay, 200 m walk Culburra beach, huge fenced back yard, big deck, fantastic views , sunny, open plan, pet friendly, 8 people.Kayaks, fishing gear and table tennis. Pets (outside/small dogs not in bedrooms or on any furniture and any shedding vacuumed prior to leaving thanks) and lots of kids welcome. The space An easy 2.5 hour scenic drive south from Sydney mostly along the freeway or you can arrive from the Canberra side via Batemans Bay or Tarago/Nerriga or from Kangaroo Valley. If you want the scenic route to Culburra then .... as you enter Nowra travelling south, after the bridge and helicopter and just before the fish and meat market turn left toward Terrara. You can also catch trains from Sydney to either Kiama or Bomaderry if you have someone who can then collect you for the remaining short trip to Culburra. Guest access Access to the house is easy, flat and with plenty of parking in the driveway and on the street. Other things to note BEACH SAFETY - please be aware that Culburra and Warrain Beaches do have parts of the beach with dangerous rips that you should not attempt to swim in unless you are very strong and experienced swimmer (although they may be great for surfing). The southern end of Culburra Beach (Tilbury Cove and north for approx. 600 metres) is safe in most conditions and patrolled in the summer holidays. Warrain Beach has a surf club that is generally active on weekends. Please ask any local resident on the beach if in any doubt as to suitable swimming conditions and locations.
