"La Chiocciolina" is a charming and comfortable cabin for 2+1 people, carefully renovated and consisting of: bedroom with en-suite bathroom, living room with open kitchen and mezzanine with sofa bed and mountain view. The entire structure, of which the cabin is a portion, dates back to the early 1800s and housed the miners who worked in the nearby gold mines. Our house, nature and typical places will leave you with beautiful memories of your holiday in Valle Antrona. The space "La Chiocciolina" is part of the Ancient Nuclei of the Antrona Valley and in the house you will find its history: this house has gone through centuries of history with lives lived in simplicity, today it is presented to you completely renovated but preserving the characteristics of the typical mountain house of our valley with typical materials and volumes that are original. We have taken care of every detail to make your stay special by providing you with the comforts of our times in the atmosphere of the past: the appliances are all new, the kitchen is fully equipped with an oven and induction hob (4 burners), there is a large refrigerator with freezer, satellite TV for your entertainment, and a water carbonator (our water is very good). In the double bedroom, the mattress is in Memory Air 160x200 cm with differentiated load-bearing capacity, height 24 cm, for a regenerating rest. In the loft, the sofa bed is of the click-clack type, perfect for a young person with dimensions of the open sofa bed of 170 x 95 cm. "La Chiocciolina" is nestled among numerous nature trails, you can take evocative and regenerating walks in the lush vegetation, explore small villages, lakes and alpine shelters. We provide our guests with the contacts and information to fully enjoy the area, its history and the nature in which we are immersed. The Antrona Valley is one of the seven valleys that branch off from the Val d'Ossola (VCO) near the Monte Rosa chain, it is within the natural park of the Alta Valle Antrona which is a protected natural area established by the Piedmont Region. The valley is also crossed by the Ovesca stream, a call for fishing lovers.
