The space Located on the head of Frenchmans Bay overlooking Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Enjoy evenings on the rocky beach as the sun sets behind you and the red light of Egg Rock lighthouse shines in the bay. Enjoy a cookout on the lawn or feast on local favorite lobster! Wander through the gardens enjoying the smell of the flowers, and the sounds of the songbirds. Enjoy the shorefront, sunning, reading or taking a dip in the cool waters of the bay. Guest access Located on 10 acres on the shore, you have the access to the gardens, beach and lawns. Barbecue and relax having lunch or dinner beside your accommodations located above the three car garage. After a short walk there is a public beach with beautiful views. Other things to note Often guest love to get up early and catch the sunrise from the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. This is the place where the sun first rays touch the USA. Starting this year during the summer months you need reservations to observations for the sunrise as ther is limited space on the top of the mountain. Please visit the Acadia National Park web site before you arrive to secure your reservation. Problem could be uncooperative weather! There are many activities in the area and there is a map of the hiking trails should you wish to do some hiking. There is also public free shuttle service in the park. It is a 10 minute ride by car to the pick up for this free service.
