The space The "Hemlock Yurt" is a 20ft diameter (roughly 315sq ft) Colorado Yurt Co. yurt built on a solid insulated platform. It is located on the border of Jay Cooke State Park, nestled in the trees overlooking a farm field. The Yurt is located a short walk (approximately 300 yards) from where you’ll be parking your car. A small cart is provided to bring your bags back to the yurt. If you are coming and going after dark, we recommend bringing a flashlight. Grounds are kept intentionally dark for star gazing. A small washing station is provided just outside the yurt for hand washing/brushing teeth. Guests supply necessary water for their stay. BATHROOM(PORTA-POTTY): The yurt doesn’t have a bathroom. There is a port-potty, approximately ~100 yards from yurt. This is shared with other yurts on property. Behind the yurt we provide a small washing station for light washing and teeth brushing. Guests supply necessary water. NO SHOWERS: There are NO showers. Guests often take advantage of area lakes and rivers to rinse off.
