SunnyCove Cottage

Quaint 19th century detached cottage on the waterfront, neatly tucked away from the hustle & bustle of Leap village, overlooking the old inner harbour and the Glandore estuary. SunnyCove is conveniently located at the Northern end of Glandore Harbour just off the N71, 10 miles from Clonakilty, 5 miles from Skibereen. A few minutes drive will take you to Glandore, Roscarberry and Union Hall and a 2 minute walk into Leap village with its pubs and famous music venue Connolly's. The space Picture yourself sitting in one of the windows or the sunroom, a cup of tea or a glass wine in hand, sun flooding in, watching the tide come in and the river run by. The fish come in on the tide . There is an abundance of bird life including heron, swans, ducks and the elusive kingfisher. Alternatively enjoy a bbq on the deck, light the fire pit, listen to music, watch the sun set and just chill. Guest access There is a deck & bbq available for use. These are located in the 'boat shed' on the deck. Other things to note SunnyCove is a 3 bedroom cottage. It is on the water and therefore not suitable for children. The main bedroom is downstairs and has a kingsize bed, dressing area & ensuite. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds. The stairs are original and therefore steep There is a banister. The main bathroom is downstairs. The basic price for SunnyCove cottage is for a maximum 4 guests staying between two rooms. Should additional beds be required they are 35 euros per person/per bed/per night and an additional cleaning/laundry charge of 50 euro. We are happy to accommodate 4 singles however, there will be an additional laundry charge of 60 euro.
