Boonabaroo - Beautiful Boonah Homestead With View

A perfect escape to the country, your very own tranquil homestead set on 50 acres nestled on a hill with breathtaking views of the scenic rim mountains. In just over an hour from Brisbane you can be relaxing on the deck enjoying a glass of wine from one of the nearby wineries, sitting around the fireplace or toasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The homestead is only a 7 minute drive to Boonah township and on the same road and only a 3 minute drive to Kooroomba Vineyard & Lavender Farm. The space Boonabaroo has been in the same family for 4 generations and has been lovingly restored and furnished with family air looms and vintage furniture. She started life as the original farmhouse which was moved from the flats of the property up to where she stands now to capitalize on the amazing vistas. The original matriarch of the family named her Boona-ba-roo, 'Boona' after the township Boonah, 'ba' after the first 2 letters of their surname and 'roo' for all the kangaroos that happily live on the property. You can follow on Insta @boonabaroo. The entrance way warmly welcomes you into the newly renovated open plan fully equipped kitchen and air-conditioned living area. There is a large Smeg oven, plenty of crockery and platters for entertaining. Lounge around the open fireplace or sit outside on the undercover deck and enjoy the magnificent sunsets and local wildlife. Firewood is supplied for your stay. All 3 bedrooms have reverse cycle air conditioners with luxury linen and towels. 1 of the 2 king bedrooms has a king single bed and king single trundle perfect for a family 2 adults and 2 children. The other King bedroom has its own private deck where you can relax in an outdoor bath underneath fairy lights. There is also a 3rd queen bedroom. There is a large central bathroom with claw foot bath, double sink and shower with a separate rain head, along with a separate powder room and second toilet. An outside fire pit, pizza oven and 8 seat teak table completes the entertaining area where you can also enjoy a swim in the pool with pool towels provided for your stay. There is NBN Wi-Fi, 2 smart TV's, Blue tooth speaker, Nespresso coffee machine, Variety of tea, Hot Chocolate and marshmallows for toasting. Guest access Guests will have full private access to the whole house. There is undercover parking for around 3 cars in the big shed just to the right of the house. There is a locked store room near the house that guests are UNABLE to access. Other things to note As you are staying at a rural property there is a septic waste system, tank water and grease trap. Please do not flush any sanitary items down the toilet, be mindful of water consumption by remembering to turn off the taps, and please no fat or food scraps to go down the drains. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Boonabaroo is strictly limited to 8 guests only. The property doesn't have the infrastructure to accommodate more people with only a very small domestic septic system, grease trap and tank water. Larger groups cannot be accommodated and schoolies, bucks or hens' groups are not suitable for this property. Strict No Party policy. No pets.
