This is a clean, calm, tidy and spacious home in a quiet neighbourhood, a 12 minute stroll from St. Neots bridge. Principal features are: Egyptian cotton towels & bed linen with pillow and mattress protectors. Hypo-allergenic cushion-top mattress. Power shower. Lock on bedroom door. TV. Free off-road parking. Super fast wi-fi - 147mbps. Private food prep area with utensils, crockery, kettle, toaster, microwave, and mini fridge. I alternate winter and summer duvets. The space This is a 4-bedroom house with one male occupant. The accommodation area has a lockable bedroom door and a separate private bathroom. The beverage & food preparation area is in the space between the bedroom and the bathroom which is curtained off from the rest of the home. I know from my own travels and use of Airbnb's that the most important part of staying in a strange room is sleep quality. This means peace, privacy and comfort. Please read some of my reviews. As well as the peace of being at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with no traffic or people noise, your room has a top-quality hypo-allergenic cushion-top Wheatcroft mattress (see photo) which is topped with two mattress covers and a top-quality silky Egyptian cotton fitted sheet. The pillows are top-notch Snuggledown brand, covered with a pillow protector and Egyptian cotton pillow cases. The duvet cover is also Egyptian cotton. Depending on the time of year that you stay, I alternate winter and summer duvets. The spacious bathroom has an invigorating power shower and fluffy white Egyptian cotton towels. Guest access The room and private bathroom are across a small corridor from one another (see photo). This corridor is curtained off from the rest of the upstairs area, thus creating the feel of being in a small apartment. The curtained-off section has a serving area and shelving which houses these items: a toaster, a kettle, a microwave oven, a mini fridge a tea pot, and some tea and coffee bags. I do not supply milk as there are so many types nowadays. Also in this area are cutlery, cereal bowls, dinner plates, drinks mugs and plastic drink glasses. During your stay I am home most of the time and generally available to offer local advice. I have been an Airbnb host since 2015. The layout of the accommodation means that, other than on arrival, the vast majority of guests come and go without seeing me at all. The only time we may randomly bump into each other is if we both happen to be entering and/or leaving the house at the same time. I get a lot of repeat visitors, so I hope part of this is the privacy that guests enjoy here. I am happy to chat, but I don't want my guests to feel that they are compelled to do so. Other things to note If you, the Airbnb account holder are wanting to book on behalf of somebody else, please make this clear in your initial booking request and provide full details of who you would like to book for, and why they cannot do it themselves. I have very good reason to ask this. In the first year of hosting I accepted a booking which (as I learned) involved Russian baby traffickers and Police knocking at my door looking for them. That's not a good look in this quiet neighbourhood.
