Hidden gem in bush 350m from main beach

Welcome in our charming cottage with the sounds of the little river, frogs and the ocean in the background. Betty's Bay is well known for its unspoiled nature, mountain, fynbos, beaches, lakes and gorgeous African (jackass) penguins. The penguins are within walking distance. The famous Harold Porter Botanical gardens is 5 minutes drive away. Betty's Bay has endless hiking, surfing, angling and snorkeling opportunities. A local grocery store is about 700 metres from the house. The space It 's a double storey house, ideal for a big family or two small families. If you love to "braai", you can do it inside in the "braai" room, or outside under the trees next to the stream. Walk to the main beach with our private path (350m) and enjoy fishing, surfing, playing with the children in the waves or strolling along the beach and/or mountain (Rod's trail) for km's. Spot the Spotted Eagle Owls, Cape Francolin, Kaapse grysbok or Cape Otters which like to visit our place. Guest access You have access to the whole house, but we keep two cupboards closed. Other things to note The property is protected with 24 hour armed response. There are beams outside and sensors inside which can be activated when needed.
