Highgate is nestled amongst trees with a national park surrounding, beautiful views over the valley and it's own fruit trees. You'll love being amongst family and friends, watching the fire crackling in the fireplace or pit and counting the stars. The space Highgate has high ceilings, open planning and the longest veranda with epic mountain views. Aside from the bedrooms listed we also have two pullout Koala double beds - ask us for extra people. A fire place is central with a large farm house kitchen and relaxing lounge area - our beds are built for sleeping in and relaxing. All the modern comforts with the quiet farm life that will have you not wanting to go home. Our property is sustainable, we operate on rain and sun. Solar panels power the house and rain tanks provide precious water, we ask guests to join us in protecting our environment and conserve energy whenever possible. Little things can make a big difference. Highgate has a backup generator and filtered tap in kitchen for fresh water option. Guest access Roads to Saint Albans need a little loving, some are dirt, some are paved, but all lead to Saint Albans village. Highgate is situated a short drive over the bridge - we recommend a torch at night because it gets dark especially in winter. Highgate has a large undercover parking area, we ask that you not park on the grass. Saint Albans Village is very small and you won't have trouble navigating - a short drive to Wisemans Ferry across the ferry will get you to central Wisemans. Other things to note St Albans has no shops. Only a village pub and a cafe. You are advised to bring your own food, and we provide the fridge, oven etc. Closest shops are at Wisemans Ferry.
