Beautiful Georgian Apartment in Bowness Centre

A stylish flat in a historic Georgian building, right in centre of Bowness-on-Windermere. A great spot for a couples’ minibreak. One well-trained dog is welcome at this property for an additional charge. Dogs visiting the property should be kept off all furniture and never left unattended. We also kindly ask that you make sure that you pick up after you dog also, thank you. Larger breeds, unfortunately, can't be accommodated. The space Biskey Howe is a delightful 17th Century Georgian property with bags of character. Step into our open-plan living room/kitchen, where you'll find everything you need for a lazy morning breakfast or a romantic dinner for two. Don't worry about the basics - we've got your salt, pepper, cooking oil, tea, and coffee covered. Kick back on the comfy sofa, with Netflix already set up on the smart TV. The bathroom includes Pure Lakes shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. We've also got you covered with a small and large bath towel each. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed (feather bedding) and if you're not quite ready for sleep, there's another TV in there for you. Just around the corner from our Airbnb, you'll find the Biskey Howe Viewpoint. It's a short and easy stroll, perfect for all ages. Once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding fells. It's a fantastic spot for a picnic or just to enjoy a tranquil moment in nature. For those seeking a slightly more adventurous walk, try the Brant Fell trail. It starts right here in Bowness-on-Windermere and takes you up through woodland and open countryside. When you reach the top of Brant Fell, you'll be greeted with stunning views over Lake Windermere and the central fells. Guest access The apartment is accessible via a communal hallway in an older building, shared with other residences within the building. Most apartments are Airbnb's/Second homes. However, once you're inside the apartments' front door, the space is all yours - private and secure. You'll self check in via a key safe located next to the front door. The apartment is located on the first floor. Free on street parking is conveniently available outside the building on Biskey Howe Road or within a 1-2 minute walking distance (Craig Walk). A paid parking lot is also located just a couple of minutes' walk away from the property, Quarry Mount carpark. Other things to note 1. We kindly ask that you respect our lovely neighbours when you come and go 2. Shoes must be removed when inside the apartment 3. No smoking allowed in the apartment 4.
