Set in a peaceful location, this bungalow boasts 4 bedrooms (2 doubles & 2 singles), front facing lounge with open fire; one ensuite shower room; fully equipped bright kitchen with dining table & chairs; bathroom with bath & shower. Baby chair & cot available. On site parking; oil central heating; patio area for eating al fresco. Stunning views of countryside & Lough Swilly. Pets welcomed!! Enclosed garden. Wheelchair friendly. The space The house is spacious and very private. The house is bright and airy, a place to unwind. Guest access You will be able to use the entire detached property, and the garden. Other things to note Rathmullan is a good location for visiting Derry (one hour away by car) or Glenveagh Country Park. There are lovely drives around the area, including Knockalla Coast Road going towards Portsalon. A visit to Fanad Lighthouse is well worth the trip, as is a visit to Horn Head to see the wild Atlantic Sea. The closest town is Letterkenny, which is just half an hour away by car. In Rathmullan there are a number of places to eat, including Belle's Kitchen and The Beachcomber Bar/pub. There are a number of pubs, including Big Paddy's and The White Harte. During the summer months there is a ferry which takes you across to Buncrana. The town also has a post office, a butcher's and a corner shop. It also has a hotel called Rathmullan House, which has a pizzeria, but you need to check whether it is open before you head on down. If you enjoy fishing, then you can do this off the pier in Rathmullan at any time of the day or night. If you enjoy an organised fishing trip, then you can contact Rathmullan Charters to book. There are walking activities available, and you can call Deirdra at Rathmullan Walking Tours for more information. There is a bus that runs from Rathmullan to Letterkenny, and back, on a daily basis, leaving Rathmullan Post Office at 08.25 and arriving in Letterkenny at 09.00. It leaves Letterkenny at 17.45. There is also a bus that goes to Fanad from Rathmullan.
